This morning We sang this primary song that mentioned sharing, and
I felt like it anyway, so we went to the church to teach Mike and at
first he didn't show, but like he showed up! Even though he was late
for work! That shows that he cares! He said he worked 89 hours this
week! That's like illegal or something.
Anyway, he didn't pray but he did read, and his boss just gave him
Sunday off! So he can come to church now! But we asked him to see if
he can get the future Sundays off too.
So that's cool, then back to sharing... We went to 7 eleven and I
wanted to get everyone AriZonas so I bought 6, and I didn't know which
flavors people like, so I got a few different ones, but 3 mucho mango
cuz everyone loves that.
Then when the district came, the sisters had chocolate cake! And
then we had our meeting, then afterwards, we ate the cake and talked
about finding methods. And I think I ate half the cake. It was kinda
small, but it was good, it was devils food with caramel frosting.
The dumb part about my favorite things, is that New York doesn't
have anything. They didn't have German chocolate for some reason, I
guess they were out..? But the really dumb thing is that two stores
that we went to didn't have root beer extract! It must be a western
thing, to make your own stuff. They also don't have dry ice to buy
either! Like I can see why.. Making those bombs and stuff.. But I was
sad. But then again I didn't do it last year.
But tomorrow we will all go to chipotle and have a district lunch.
Unless we didn't get paid. So we'll have fun anyway.
We went to the Avila family again and sis Avila made me a huge cake!
It was so cool! It had "feliz dias happy birthday elder peck" written
on it. On the outside was sliced strawberries And inside was chopped
peaches and the frosting was actually home made with whipped cream. It
was really good. I brought home a quarter of it. The daughter, Lindsay
loves strawberries so I let them keep the other quarter we didn't eat.
Pics to come. She took some I bet she'll post soon. And we had this
amazing food for din din. It was creamy potatoes with rice with beef
and onions and peppers. It was good mixed together as well. Then we
ate the cake and the little kids asked elder Izatt how to say things
in Chinese. They were laughing like crazy. That's a sweet family.
It was a pretty good day I can say.
Well, that's it
