It has been a dream of mine my whole mission to go golfing, and we
just finished, for free! A member works there, mowing the lawn, and he
got us in, gave us clubs, and got two carts for us too! We played with
other missionaries in the area. We are in patchogue, which is pretty
far from Freeport.  But that's the price for free golf at a country
club!
Even though we are all horrible at golf, it's always fun. I didn't
get any good drives, but I did get a few good other hits. I went in
the woods for a potty break and came out with a huge handful of golf
balls. Well, I went in to find my ball. Lose one ball, find 10... Good
deal. The woods are full of them.

In two weeks we hit our standard of excellence for investigators.
Which is 20. I never thought that was possible. But it's good to have
a lot of people, because not all are going to make it.

I have two months from tomorrow left. Ugh... Weird. It's weird
thinking I'm almost done. I'm so old in the mission. Like only me and
the calderwoods were here during the hurricane. Not even any of the
senior couples. They have short missions, like the sisters.

One new family, the jones family-are crazy black people. There's 5
daughters, and one son, who's gay. And the mom, I guess the dad is
still in the picture but he works. They are all crazy and they all
talk at the same time, and it's loud.. Nothing really gets done.
Lessons are tough. But it's fun.
Knowana (mom) Lataya (1) Elise (2) Nia (3) Nyiel (4) Nyah (5)
They run all over and it's hard to tell who's who.

And there's another family from the Dominican Republic. Mom, dad, 3
kids. The youngest kid is named frank. Like, everyone has spanish
names, then there's frank... ?  The older daughter seems more
interested in the lessons, she said she has received a positive answer
about the gospel! And now we gotta wait on the dad, cuz we all know
he's the one that makes decisions. But he's cool too. The whole family
is cool. And there's also another family I think is the moms sister,
and she has a daughter. We are teaching them and the grama tonight.
There's: Jorge (dad) Maria (mom) Caroline (daugthter) Junior (son)
Frank (youngest son).
Claribell (aunt) Naomi (cousin) grama (grama)
Jorge gave us some good treats. First was a candy that was pretty much
sweetened condensed milk taffy. And the other was bread pudding. That
was really good.
They are all really cool, they might be enough motivation for me to
learn spanish.
Oh, the dad was here first, and then the mom and kids moved up from
the D.R. And apparently they were taking lessons from missionaries
down there. I think I've said this already.  But I really would love
to teach them and have them become a part of the Freeport ward family.

Me and Richardson were talking last night and we don't think we'll be
together next transfer because we would kill each other off. We both
finish at the same time. So we think someone should stay here,
especially with all these new investigators we got, and whoever we get
later. It has happened in the past... But it's not smart. You never
know.

It's weird to think that I have two major holidays left, as well.
Halloween is close, then thanksgiving, and I'm home before Christmas.
Third Halloween and thanksgiving.

Uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh.......... I have a weird headache I get at the
base of my skull sometimes. I guess golfing made me hurt in my wrist
and ankle. I'm glad we didn't walk, or I'd be dead in a bunker on hole
3 or something.

I'm so tired all the time. Even worse with the cold. I think I'm over
it now, but today is pretty cold. It's been in the 50's for a while.
And I hear it's supposed to rain a few days this week. The humidity
makes it colder. Oh, back to the point- I remember elder law told me
he was always tired at the end of his mission. I just feel like
sleeping all the time. Like right now. I think I'll do that.. I've
written pretty much all I wanted to tell y'all.
